At Romify, we use three different statuses to describe events: Planned, Live, and Completed. This article will explain what each status means and when to use them.
Planned
For designing a future event
- Event is not visible in the Romify Mobile App
For the Planned status, we have two sub-statuses: Testing and Training.
Testing mode - for administrators to test the mobile app and integrations
- Event is visible in the Romify Mobile App only to Event Users who are Administrators
- Integrations work the same as for a normal Live Event
- All Leads created in the Test mode will be deleted once the Test mode is turned off

✍🏻 NOTE: You still have to manually delete the leads from the end system (ie. Salesforce)
</aside>
Training mode - for end user training before the Live Event
- Event is visible in the Romify Mobile App to all Event Users
- All integrations are disabled
- All Leads created in the Training mode will be deleted once the Training mode is turned off
Live
For the events on going
- Event is visible in the Romify Mobile App for all event users
- All integrations are active and leads are forwarded to end systems in real time
Completed
Event has ended and no more leads are expected from the users
- Event is not visible in the Romify Mobile App
- Event is closed for new leads
Failed
Event will be marked as FAILED if:
- There is not enough tokens in the system and Event cannot go LIVE
- There is 0 users and 0 leads when the event is automatically or manually closed
- There are users but 0 leads when the event is automatically or manually closed
Boundaries for LIVE status
Maximum time in LIVE status = 28 days
- Event duration (time between Start Date and End Date) can be maximum 14 days
- Administrator can set the event manually to LIVE status at earliest 7 days before the Event Start Date
- Administrator can set the event manually to COMPLETED during the period of 7 days after the Event End Date
Automation on event statuses
Planned (including Testing and Training mode) → Live
- System will set the event LIVE in the midnight of the Event Start Date (local time of the event location)
Live → Completed
- System will set the event COMPLETED 7 days after the Event End Date (local time of the event location)
